The SuckerPunch Workout
Whether you loved the movie Sucker Punch, or hated it, you’ve got to admit that the workouts that the girls did for Sucker Punch were pretty awesome:
Their Trainer, Logan Hood, said they worked on three things:
1. More Weight
2. More Reps
3. Faster Time
All of the girls have talked about the progress they made, and it’s clear that they made serious, measurable progress in their workouts. It’s important to note that they made this progress training 12 weeks before the movie started, and then over the course of filming. This was not an overnight thing.

One of the actors, Vanessa Hudgens, got into really great shape for the Sucker Punch Movie. She did it with Kettlebell Swings, Kettlebell Push Presses, Goblet Squats and Deadlifts, to name a few. After training for several weeks, she worked her way up to deadlifting a whopping 180lbs!
Vanessa, and all the girls in Sucker Punch, trained at Epoch Training in Los Angeles with Logan Hood. Epoch is where Jason Statham trained for Crank. Logan Hood, their trainer, used to be an instructor at Gym Jones, where Mark Twight trained the actors for the movie 300.
