Reebok Crossfit x 3D Sidewalk Art = Awesome Project and World Record
Reebok, a brand that I had pretty much written off as “for nostalgia only” (ref. Reebok 5411’s) has re-entered my radar screen in a big way.
Someone of great vision in that brand has decided to make a great investment into the culture of crossfit, and it is showing in a BIG way. From crossfit socks, to shoes, to the completely awe inspiring Crossfit Games, Reebok is investing into a growing subculture rivaled only by perhaps Adidas getting tied to Hip-Hop in the 80’s.
Along the lines of completely cool marketing and yet another investment in the culture, Reebok recently combined with famed 3D street artists 3D Joe and Max to complete a world record project in Madrid, branded Reebok Crossfit.
It is completely off the meter. Check it out.
Reebok CrossFit, a revolutionary strength and conditioning programme, teamed up with artists 3D Joe and Max to break the Guinness World Record for the largest ever 3D street art. The painting measured an impressive 1,160.4m² and was unveiled at London’s West India Quays, Canary Wharf. Here the public were invited to take part in a Reebok CrossFit WOD (workout of the day) on the spectacular artwork.
