Creating Better Athletes from the Inside Out. Coach Be x PDA Soccer

Hey folks,

I had a fantastic experience last night that I wanted to share with you.

I was invited to counsel teams at the Player’s Development Academy (PDA), which is one of the premier soccer clubs in the United States, and the home of U16 PDA Slammers National Champion girls soccer team.

I spoke with 2 of the teams about their existing nutritional habits and the affect of nutrition on their athletic performance.

We discussed simple strategies to incorporate the right foods into their daily routines, as well as the importance of simply getting ENOUGH food to power the tremendous demands athletes put on their bodies.

Additionally and probably of most interest to the ladies was the topic of game day nutrition. The teams are often required to play mutliple games in one day in tournament situations. Power to compete and to recovery is KEY in these situations and the ladies were absolutely keyed in to the discussion.

The athletes in this club are amazing. They are well trained and radiate a winners attitude. They are a testament to the quality of their parents, coaches, and the leadership of the club.
